Depression

Remember, understanding is the first step in overcoming this challenge!

Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest in things and activities you once enjoyed. It can also cause difficulty with thinking, memory, eating and sleeping. It’s normal to feel sad about or grieve over difficult life situations.

Symptoms may include feelings of hopelessness, changes in appetite, fatigue, trouble concentrating, and sometimes even physical pain. It’s important to recognize that you’re not alone—many people experience depression at some stage in their lives. If you or someone you know is struggling, reaching out for help can be a vital step toward recovery.

Arjuna was depressed and he did not want to fight. His bow fell from his hands and his fingers trembled. Krishna urged him to wake up and fight. The decision to fight can take away your depression as it did for Arjuna. When you do “Bhagwanyog” and you meditate, all the past scars that have been bothering you, that made your life miserable will be gone in no time. Remember, understanding is the first step in overcoming this challenge!

"A big part of depression is feeling really lonely even if you're in a room full of a million people." - Lilly Singh
